Mentor2Youth

Mentor2Youth was started in 2011 based on an idea developed for a research project at Michigan State University. The research revolved around how a mentoring program would impact students’ academic performance and behavioral conduct. Based on positive results, the research project was developed into a non-profit. Mentor2Youth has served 500+ youth since that day and now holds 5-6 programs throughout the school and summer periods working with an average of 140-165 youth ages 8-18 throughout Washtenaw County emphasizing the Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor area. We support and empower youth in life, academics and work.

Mentor2Youth is currently looking for professionals to come speak about their career with our young boys and girls! We will be facilitating to leadership academies starting July 5th through August 18th on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-3pm. We are asking for 20min of your time to provide insight and inspire a young child to want to join YOU in your career field one day. If you are interested in learning how you can come speak to our youth; please email emmanuel.jones@mentor2youth.com. View our calendar online to learn more about other activities we will have taking place this summer.
